A substantial, cabinet-class iron from Argentina’s famed Campo del Cielo crater field, an IAB coarse octahedrite distinguished by naturally sculpted regmaglypts and a deep, desert patina. Typical chemistry (~6–7% Ni with trace Co, P, and S) supports an interior of kamacite–taenite intergrowth with accessory schreibersite and troilite. Prepared and etched, the piece can reveal a bold Widmanstätten pattern with broad lamellae; unetched, it reads as a powerful, sculptural individual that anchors any shelf or plinth with quiet authority.
