A Note on the Concept of Privacy: Appalling Social Media Trends

I have noticed a distinct rise in the social media trend within the service provider realm of sharing intimate customer interaction details, including unfortunate complications, customer complaints, and related subjects. From yacht and house managers to personal assistants and chefs, there are few professions not noted as participating in this trend of airing subject matter that should be held in confidence. It is a despicable breach of the trust that was placed in these individuals. Instead of honoring the privacy of those moments that were placed into their care, they take these details and craft them into salacious videos, all for views, likes, and followers.
