Collected near Erfoud and entered into the Meteoritical Bulletin in 2001, Northwest Africa 107 derives from a single 1,630-gram stone recovered in 2000; an early Sahara find whose story traces cleanly from field purchase to classification.

Scientifically, NWA 107 is an H3.7 unequilibrated ordinary chondrite with low shock (S1) and desert-typical weathering (W5). Its chemistry is pinned by olivine Fa16.4 ± 0.2; the type specimen (364 g) is curated at UCLA (IGPP), a precise pedigree for a classic early-NWA stone.
